GELP for AROC

Any flight radiotelephone operators licence needs to be accompanied by the GELP test.

GELP (General English Language Proficiency test) is a new CASA requirement for Aviation radio operators. Unfortunately since major CASA rules overhaul from 1.9.2014 AROC students require this test.

The GELP can be sit at ASL centres around Australia, or it can be done at the same time as the AROC course itself. AROC course is extended for students who do not have the GELP and the test is on the day.
